18 Months Old

Rhys is 24 pounds, 32 inches and can say about 30 words and counting. He is all about doing things himself these days but gets frustrated very quickly when things aren't working the way he thinks they should. Everything is "Mine!" and Mommy is what he yells at whoever is closest when he wants something. His catch phrase is "Go Koko! go Koko!" from the tv show Chuggington. He can climb up the barstool and onto the bar, so nothing is safe. He is best friends with Dez and he loves playing with the train table at the thinkery. He loves to run, and a few days ago without prompting (at first) he ran 52 laps around the kitchen island. He is obsessed with anything that has wheels. He loves slides and will go down any slide without hesitation, no matter how tall it is.

Words Rhys knows: Stairs, Mine, I, Juice, Car, Ball, Fish, Shoes, Bubble, Hi, All Gone, Daddy, Mommy, Poop, Seal, Choo choo, Tractor, Hello, Vrrroom (car noise), Jesus, Out, Doggie, Bike, Bye, Cookie, No, Bottle, Go go go, Nuna, Uh Oh, B (brecken), Rhys.

Nothing like slurping down shampoo in the garage while mom folds laundry

Stacking is cool, but knocking down is better!

I caught the split second where he actually left his sunglasses on

What? You mean you didn't want all of these Dixie cups separated and spread all over the floor?
