Intermission

We interrupt this super longwinded description of our Europe trip for more recent events. One of Lewis and I's resolutions for the new year was to do better with this blog. So from now on we are going to take turns posting every Sunday!
We got back from Utah on Thursday (actually it was Friday by the time we got home because the flights were so messed up because of the weather out East!) Anyways, we had a great time hanging out with friends and family and regrettably forgot to take hardly any pictures! We did get a few videos of Lewis' rockets that he made.
Before we went to Utah we took a few pictures around the neighborhood. I am so happy to live in such a beautiful place! I really love Houston and am so happy to be here!
Can't help decorating even if we only got to enjoy it for a few weeks!

Our daily walk to the park

I have always loved this house! Especially the dog statues on the porch. They just put it for sale for half a million!

The Children's Museum a couple blocks away from our apartment

Apparently the construction crew redoing the rose garden is NOT hiring!

I love the birds here! This big heron was sitting right next to our path in Herman Park.

So, these things are gross. They are called nutria and they are basically enormous muskrats. But everyone here thinks they are otters.
